Britt Johnson is founder and chairman of Women Acting with a Vision. She currently serves as Marketing & Operations Assistant at Avenue Bank as well as Marketing Director for local clothing designer Olia Zavozina. Mary Katherine graduated from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Administration. She works in the Advancement Office at Father Ryan High School as Advancement Services Coordinator, managing special events and providing assistance for other Advancement Office projects, such as alumni relations and communications.

In addition to WAV, Mary Katherine is involved in the Nashville Area Junior Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board for The Tomorrow Fund and the Davidson County Chapter of the University of Tennessee Alumni Association. Mary Katherine is a native Nashvillian who enjoys supporting the local community.

Olia Zavozina is a Russian born fashionista who started her journey by leaving her hometown at the age of 18. Olia has been traveling and exploring the world of fashion ever since. With multiple degrees in world economics, an MBA in business administration, biblical ethics and religion she could not let her passion for fashion go. Olia started her own label at the age of 20. Olia is one of the original members of WAV where she continues to help others in her community.

Rachel is a Senior Account Executive at Cabedge. where she manages creative strategy for five client accounts. She also serves at the Marketing Board Chair for the Nashville Junior Chamber and has spearheaded the rebranding of the historic organization. Rachel loves her additional role as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant… and hopes to one day drive a pink Cadillac! In her spare time, Rachel serves as a mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and enjoys reading, exercising, cooking and hanging out with her dog, Madden. Rachel originally joined WAV to broaden her community horizons, but is thrilled with how many wonderful friends she’s made in the process!

Falon graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Public Relations and minors in Marketing and International Business. After graduation, she immediately moved to Nashville to pursue graduate school and a job in the music industry. She quickly found her feet within the realm of the event management world and is now Vice President of Event Logistics, Inc. a global corporate meeting and event management company.

Through her career, Falon is involved in the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce (Member Relations Committee), Meeting Professionals International, Metro Nashville Public Schools Hospitality and Tourism Council and the District Merchant’s. However, she also volunteers on a personal level as a Co-Chair for Chukkers for Charity and now, WAV because offering an open heart, helping hand and listening ears is a rewarding way to spend your days, years….life!

Kaitie Gordon is a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. She also works part time for the State of TN Department of Health on a tuberculosis research study. Kaitie graduated from Dickinson College in 2001 with a degree in Anthropology and received her Masters of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from Boston University in 2005. She is active in the Nashville Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club, acting as co-chair of the Sippin’ Angels/Young Alum Group and is the Christmas Village 2009 Wine Chair. In August of 2009, Kaitie organized a book fair and drive that resulted in more than 500 books and over $1000 donated to Warner Enhanced Option School in her East Nashville neighborhood. Danielle Kimmey began touring at the young age of 13 as a part of the Christian pop group Out of Eden. As part of Out of Eden she had the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of hundreds of thousands of young people through song and dance. After retiring from music in Dec. 2005, Danielle longed to grow in the knowledge of God and to expand into different forms of expression. This desire led to two years of leadership and Biblical training at Every Nation Leadership Institute in her hometown of Nashville TN. During her time there, Danielle’s heart was moved for today’s youth and culture in a life changing way.

Danielle can now be found speaking and serving girls in various churches and on various tours, the last of which was Women of Faith’s Revolve Tour. She also holds a full time marketing position in the artist services department of interl’inc and has been a long standing member of the Nashville Women’s group WAV. “My commitment is to share the truth of God’s Word in love and to help people from all walks of life understand the grace that is found in Him.” –Danielle

Jennifer is married and a mother of two girls. She is currently attending Columbia State and is pursuing her degree in nursing. The plight of underprivileged children has always been a cause that is close to Jennifer’s heart. Even as a child she tried to make everyone feel accepted and appreciated. Once she became an adult, she has tried to spend her time mentoring children in the inner city. Believing that everyone deserves a chance for a happy and rewarding life, she is dedicated to helping others achieve their goals in life. “Pure religion is this, to care for orphans and widows in their distress” (James 1:27).

Couple of WAV members volunteering at Greer stadium for the “Jeff Fisher & Friends” annual softball game. Proceeds benefitting Mercy Ministries, Soles4Souls, Catch-a-Dream, Nashville Children’s Alliance and several other local charities. WAV is looking forward to doing a lot of work with Mercy Ministries going forward.
